Everything you need to know about solar grid-connect install and design accreditation
Solar accreditation is required to design and install rooftop solar in Australia. Your accreditation number will be required when you apply for connection with the supply entity and when you claim the STC's (Small-scale Technology Certificates) on the system. Our solar grid-connect install and design course is a qualification requirement for accreditation from Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA).
Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) is the only solar accreditation scheme operator in Australia. SAA has over 9,500 renewable energy installers and designers. For provisional GRID CONNECTED PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS (GCPV) accreditation SAA will require the following:
- Photo ID
- A Selfie
- Your Electrical License Number and Expiry Date
- Your Training Organisation name and your Qualification - We will provide this when you complete the course.
- Your Public Liability Insurance & provide the Expiry Date
- Your Working Safely at Heights Certification
